Well done to Sarah, James and Emily who competed at the Hillybilly Duathlon at Kirroughtree near Newton Stewart at the weekend. The race consisted of a 10km run followed by an 18km mountain bike around the flowing trails of the Galloway Forest Park.

Cross Stitch
After learning how to cross stitch with Mrs Mann the children have made some fantastic cross stitch pictures. Here are some of the p4 children with their finished work. Great work!

Sarah went to a Lamb Show during the long weekend. Congratulations to Sarah who’s Lamb came second. Well done.
Declans Holiday
Declan went to Wooky Hole to visit his family in Somerset. He brought Mrs T a stick of rock back. Thanks Declan, we hope you had a lovely time with your family.
Rugby Sevens
James went to see the Rugby Sevens in Glasgow at the weekend. Teams from all over the world go together to play against each other. He met the Scotland Mascot and the entire Scotland team.

Well done to James who was the fastest and most accurate with mental maths.
Cross Stitch
Every Monday afternoon we would go and get our Teacher Mrs Mann to come into our class and help or teach us how to cross stitch. We have a girl in our class called Saskia and she was amazing at cross stitch and so she helped other people and can still do her own. We all started of doing a cross stitch bookmark where as soon as you were finished you were to go and ask to make something like a frog witch a lot of people did. Some of us did flags or dogs ect. Some of us kept getting in an knot.

First Day Back
Hope everyone had a great Easter Break. We’re all back in school and refreshed after our holidays. Here are some photos of the p1 – 4 class working hard on a picture of what they did during the holidays and some of them at lunch time, there are also a few new faces.
Our Village
This term primary 1 to 4 children are learning about Our Village Brydekirk for their topic. The children have made a video about what they have learned so far.
