A Spooky week

This week brought us Halloween on Wednesday. The Children were allowed to come in fancy dress. We had jelly with lots of spiders and colour in our water tray for making potions. At the activity table we carved our pumpkins to make them spooky. We had one of our favourite stories ‘Room on the Broom’ told by our very own Mrs Galloway and one of our children Alannah. Mrs Galloway used lots of fantastic props to help tell the story.

A big THANK YOU to our parent council for giving the children goody bags!

We are continuing with our Autumn floorbook and display next week if parents/carers have any comments or pictures of their children playing outside in the Autumn please speak to a member of staff and we will add your contribution to the display.

Now that we are into November and the weather is changing can we ask that if you are out for walks or have a back garden you look for changes happening and discuss it with you child. This helps us greatly with group time discussions and helps the children to learn new language.

Thank you to all the parents who paid their pound for dress up day!
