Good afternoon,
I just wanted to upload a link to a video of the moon landing for our flight topic, in case the children haven’t had a chance to watch it.
Enjoy!

Good morning,
Here is an extra handwriting task for the class.
t-l-9435-first-100-high-frequency-words-handwriting-activity-sheets- (1)
Remember to take your time and stay in the correct lines. Tall letters (e.g. t) reach the top blue line, letters with tails (e.g. j) touch the bottom blue line but the other letters should stay between the middle two lines.

Good morning Primary 3,
I hope you are all well and had a great day yesterday.
Here is the Maths work I would like you to do today:
Fraction-cut-and-paste-number-line[1]
There are three number lines, I would like you to cut out the fractions and stick them onto the number lines in the correct order. Any fraction with a zero on the top half (numerator) will mean that it is worth zero e.g. – 0/2 is zero. This applies to the other end of the line too, if they have the same number on the top and bottom (denominator) then it is one full e.g. 2/2 is worth one.
Please look at the step by step guide I have created for you to help you understand where to place the fractions and work out what is missing:
Step by step guide for fractions on a number line
Then I would like you to fill in the missing fractions on the number lines on this worksheet:
t-n-4892-missing-fractions-on-a-number-line-worksheet-_ver_1
I have also found some wonderful online games to help you with your fractions which will give you lots of practice:
https://www.sheppardsoftware.com/mathgames/fractions/AnimalRescueFractionsNumberLineGame.htm
This is a game to fine the fraction on a number line and will help support the work you are doing today.
https://phet.colorado.edu/sims/html/fraction-matcher/latest/fraction-matcher_en.html
This game above is about matching the fractions so they weigh the same on the scales.
I will also be sending out some handwriting practice later on, as I know some of you have completed the handwriting practice that was sent home with you in the pack.
Have a wonderful day,
Mrs Love
Good morning Primary 3! I hope you are all having a good week. Please find attached your home learning activities for today and everything you will need to complete them. The activity sheets can be printed off or you can view them online and talk through the activity with an adult.
We are beginning a new RME topic today about the parables told by Jesus. A parable is a short, simple story with a meaning or message. Jesus used parables to teach people about himself and the way we should live our lives. This week we will look at the Parable of the Talents which shows us that we should all use the talents and gifts we have been given.
Have a nice day everyone and enjoy the rest of your week.

Good morning Primary 3.
I hope you had a good day yesterday.
I have written on the home learning grid this week, that I would love to see the wonderful work you are doing at home. Parents can email the school (email address is on the grid for this week) photo’s, scanned work or send me ICT work such as word documents if your child has used this, to show what you have been up to. Alternatively, you can post photos on Twitter and tag me in them, @MrsLoveP3 (Just ensure your child’s name is not with their photo). I would love to showcase the home learning that is happening and will post photos or work that is sent to me on the blog on Friday. Can’t wait to see what you have been doing.
Here is the Maths sheets to answer today. The first is to draw an array for the fraction asked (answers attached to question sheet) and the second is a fraction read and colour sheet.

Good morning,
Here is the window into learning for this term.
This has all the things I will cover this term. I will of course provide you with all the resources that you need for home learning.
I also just want to add that I am aware that it is difficult for families just now in these uncertain times. Working from home, parenting and supporting your child’s home learning is hard to juggle all at once. I will supply you with the resources for learning each week. Please try to support your child where and when you possibly can.
You and your families health is the most important thing at the moment.
Thank you for all of your amazing work so far.
Stay safe and look after yourselves,
Mrs Love
Good morning Primary 3,
Bonjour ma classe.
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.
Here is the learning grid for this week. Could you please read the letter from me on the grid. Thank you.

For our maths today we will be looking at the equivalence of one half and two quarters. Here is the link to the worksheet and the answer sheet:

Y2-Spring-Block-4-ANS10-Equivalence-of-half-and-two-quarters-2019 – Answers.
Also as an extra maths activity today if you have time, RBS money sense are doing an online lesson on Facebook at 11:30 – 12, all about money – notes and coins. The link is:
https://www.facebook.com/royalbankofscotland/videos/243993663388687/
It would be great to do, to revise recognition of money for Primary 3. I have also found a good tip for this is to have a price list for snacks for your child to use daily, using real coins to pay for them. I have been doing this with my own child and it has really helped with his coin recognition.
