Josh – I designed a giraffe with a Scotland flag. Giraffes can sleep when they are standing up. They have a very long neck. The have really long tongues.

Georgia – I made a rainbow coloured giraffe. They have a long neck and they are tall. They have a long tongue. They wrap their tongue around the leaves and eat them.

Grace – I enjoyed decorating my giraffe, I did little curls. Giraffes have to stand up so that predators cannot hunt them. They open one eye to look for predators that will sneak up!

Caleb – We learned facts about giraffes. They only sleep for 30 minutes. They have a long neck so they can reach the plants.

Ella – I liked doing PE yesterday. We played birthday games. I liked playing musical bumps. When the music was playing we danced and when the music stopped we had to sit down.

Louis – I liked playing birthday games for Alexander’s birthday.

Arianna – I enjoyed making the poppy picture.

Oliver – I enjoyed making the poppies. We use them to remember about people who died in the war. A purple poppy is for the animals who died in the wars.

Olivia – I enjoyed free play. I made pussy cats from paper.

Thea – I enjoyed playing the party games yesterday. My favourite was musical statues!

Willow – We learned ow and ‘ai’ sounds, cow has the ‘ow’ sound. Snail and rain have the ai sound.

Kyra – I enjoy singing the Nativity songs. My favourite one is Three Kings!

Josh – I liked sewing this week. I am sewing a gingerbread man. It was tricky to do chain stitch so I am doing straight stitch.

Lily – I like sewing. I am making a reindeer. I am good at stitching!

Oliver – I like reading. I liked when I saw a funny bit in my reading book. It was about a monkey that can clap!

Elyas – I liked doing PE we were catching animals from the big pond and putting them in our team pond. My team were good at it!

Rhy-Lee – I liked learning the ‘ai’ sound, we made words with it. Spain had the ‘ai’ sound.

Alexander – I liked doing science. I like making bubbles. So you have to get a paper straw and a plastic straw. You get paper and you blow the mixture and it makes bubbles. Then you have to put the paper on top. The paper straw was best for blowing bubbles!

Thea – I like sewing. I am making a gingerbread man.

Jack –I enjoyed sewing. I put on pink jelly eyes. I am sewed it all up.

Georgia – We are painting a Christmas book cover for the lunch hall. I was painting the houses and the sky.
