It was lovely to see Carol and Helen from East Calder Playgroup this morning. ย Carol and Helen had a rare morning off and came to the school gate to wish good luck to our new Primary 1 pupils. ย They also came to visit our nursery to wish good luck to some of our new children starting today.

We would like to wish all of our children who are starting school next week farewell and good luck!ย We have been so proud to be your Champions during your time with us at Calderwood Nursery School.
Today Calderwood said goodbye and good luck to our very special Mrs Laing! We will always be grateful for the energy, enthusiasm and commitment she has given our nursery since opening it at the very beginning. We wish her all the very best for her future career in teaching.
As Primary 3s move into Primary 4 they will no longer to use Seesaw but will move to Teams, it will take them a few weeks of training on how to use Teams before they start to use it as a journal.
For families who where at Calderwood Primary in 2022-23 we will archive those clans on Friday 19th July. This means you have 25 days to download their journal from their previous clan. You need access to a netbook, laptop or computer to do this and can do this as explained below:
