P7 Online Curriculum Sessions – WCHS

WCHS will deliver online Curriculum Sessions to both P7 classes and these will commence on Friday 27th February. Different curriculum areas will deliver sessions about their department and allow the children to learn more about these subject areas. Below is a list of dates and the subject areas.

Ness Clan Connects

This morning, Ness Clan came together to share their learning with their families and the rest of the school community through their Clan Connects.

The children told us all about Scottish Battles.  They did an amazing presentation and we were treated to some amazing singing!  We are so proud of each and every one of our learners.

Ness Clan then spent some time with their adults, sharing more of their learning from the year so far.

Thank you to all parents and carers who were able to come along to support Ness Clan this morning.

P1 Christmas Show tickets

Today (Friday 1st December) Primary 1 pupils will be bringing home tickets for their Christmas shows!

Each pupil has 3 tickets per performance with dates and times as follows:

Tuesday 12th December

9.15am Skye and Shetland

10.45am Mull and Orkney

2pm Ness and Linlithgow

Wednesday 13th December

9.15am Mull and Orkney

10.45am Ness and Linlithgow

2pm Skye and Shetland

If your child is absent today, we will issue the tickets when they return.

Saving Seesaw Profiles 2022-23

As Primary 3s move into Primary 4 they will no longer to use Seesaw but will move to Teams, it will take them a few weeks of training on how to use Teams before they start to use it as a journal.

For families who where at Calderwood Primary in 2022-23 we will archive those clans on Friday 30th June. This means you have 30 days to download their journal from their previous clan. You need access to a netbook, laptop or computer to do this and can do this as explained below:

  • Tap profile in top left
  • Account settings
  • Scroll down to the bottom and click download archived journal
Or:
  • You should be able to highlight all the files
  • Right clicking and choosing print then choosing Print to PDF from the dialogue box
