This week has been our first week back and we have got off to a flying start.

Last term we made PowerPoint presentations called “All About Me”. We learned how to make transitions and animations on our slides, learned how to add pictures and text and how to change the backgrounds. This week we have been presenting them to the class – they were all brilliant!

In PE we practised our traditional dancing and learned how to do the Strip the Willow. It was confusing at first, but we got there in the end.

We’ve also been working on our Guess, Check and Improve strategy in our problem solving by looking at a problem with squares.

Our new Rivers topic is going to be fun. We learned where a river starts and ends and the names of the different sections of the river (for example where it meanders).

In Maths we have started to look at weight. We learned that Mr Todd is heavier than Kaitlyn – as if we didn’t know!
