• They used chariots instead of cars
• They had tournaments with chariot races
• The Emperor would do a thumbs up or thumbs down in the middle of the stadium to say whether someone would be killed or not killed
• They sometimes used a bear or lions to kill someone
• Red was the royalty colour
• That Julius Caesar wore red boots
• That men killed Caesar in AD 44 because senators were getting fed up of him
• Romans ate snails
• They had a large feast when someone was getting married
• Instead of traffic lights, they used people
• They had sewer systems
• Romans went to baths and they often made decisions there!
• It was sometimes really cold or windy in Rome
