This week in Primary 7 we have been drawing portraits of Robert Burns. We had to look closely at the pictures that we were given so that we could lay things out properly. We found drawing in his shoulders and his facial features particularly difficult!
Within numeracy we have been learning and revising how to draw and read different types of graphs. This week we have focused on making our own databases and writing partner questions based on these.
In art and design we have started to design our own Chinese dragons that we are going to include in our display of work at the JYHS event. This week we have been using watercolour paints to add colour to the dragons. We aimed to make our dragon designs realistic by limiting the number of colours that we used.
