Bellsquarry Primary School

School updates

Here are a few things we have done over the past few weeks!

Burns Supper

Primary 7 planned and prepared a Burns Supper. They got to invite one guest and they even got to have some Haggis, neeps and tatties! They performed many different talents such as poetry, dance, art work, music, and comedy. They also performed Scottish songs such as Loch Lomond and Caledonia. It was an amazing night and everyone enjoyed it.

After school clubs

We have many after school clubs for all of the classes. Here is a list of some of the clubs.

. Monday – p2-3 multi sports

.  Tuesday – p4-5 fencing

. Wednesday- p6-7 football – full

.Thursday- p6-7 dancing

. Friday –p1 dancing

Many of the after school clubs are available to join. This is a good way to get active!

P3 football festival

On the 13th of January P3 went to Bathgate to compete against other schools in a football festival. Here is what Ben says about this festival.

“It was really fun and we got to play many cool games. We even got to have a warm up game.”

As you can see Bellsquarry has had a very exciting last few weeks.
