Virtual Playground

We are very aware that remote learning has left our learners really missing out on the social aspect of school. We have been thinking how we could offer safe, fun activities where our learners could socialise. In response to this, we are delighted to share with you our first ever virtual playground! Each member of staff in this playground will be ready to interact live via skype with learners at 2pm on Thursday 11th February. They will each be providing a different activity.

All you need to do is open the PDF and click on the member of staff who you would like to join!

Virtual Playground Wk1

This week you can:

  • Click on Mrs Thacker dancing to join her and your friends for a living room disco!
  • Click on Miss Potter who is deep in thought with her head in the clouds. She will be joined by Hayden and Logan from P7 too!
  • Click on Miss Cushley who is looking very suspicious hiding behind the bushes. She has prepared a scavenger hunt for you all.
  • Eyes down for a game on bingo with Miss Arkless who is ready and waiting beside the rock. Just click on her to access

We hope you can join in the fun alongside your classmates. We would love to see this from the other side of our laptops so please ask an adult to take photos of you taking part in these activities and share them with us on twitter @BoghallPsch or by email to clare.thacker@westlothian.org.uk

Fun Friday Family Maths Challenge

2020 was the year everyone displayed rainbows as a sign of better things to come after the difficult times.

Your task is to create a unique handprint filled with some of your Mathematical knowledge. We can then hopefully collate them all into a Boghall rainbow of our own when we all return to school.

Please follow the link below for full instructions.
