Apprenticeship Event – 30th March 2016

 

All S3, S4, S5 and S6 pupils had the opportunity to attend the BHS apprenticeship event for one period  where each year group:

• had a presentation from Mrs Patrick to:

– raise awareness of the types of apprenticeships available

– share  sources of information about apprenticeship opportunities

– gave advice to help people  applying to an apprenticeship.

• SDS (Careers Adviser) Mrs Crawford then shared some interesting facts and statistics about modern apprenticeships.

 

• had time to speak to apprenticeship providers as well as previous and current apprentices to hear about their experience.
