Take advantage of any opportunity which allows you to hear from people who can give you information and advice about your chosen career – there are various talks, lectures, seminars, conferences, summer schools/academies etc which you can access.   These can happen in school, university, in another venue during the school day or outwith school.

• follow twitter – @BHSfpathways
• Check the Future Pathways board in the atrium
• Read the daily tannoys
• Search for events in your area using the internet

Remember:

 

⇒  Take notes – during an event and/or afterwards when you reflect on what you learned

⇒  Keep a list of every event you attend – including the dates, speakers, etc
