S3 pupils are given the opportunity to apply for the role of  Monitor  while S4/5/6 are on study leave for their prelims and final SQA examinations.

Pupils interested in applying to be a monitor completed an application form and were interviewed by our Senior Prefects.

Successful applicants then had training by S6 Senior Prefects:

There duties include:

• monitoring the doors at the atruim.
• supporting the queues at the food counters.
• supporting parents evenings where appropriate.
