All young people are encouraged to seek leadership opportunities:
- as a method of enhancing interpersonal skills
- in order to develop their skills for life, learning and work
- to support their choice of future career
- to support their future pathway
- to supplement their personal statement/CV
Pupils should keep a record of each opportunity, with photo evidence where appropriate and reflect on what they did, how they did it, why they did it and how they/others benefited from it.
In Balfron High School we offer Leadership Opportunities to:
S1-S6 Pupils:
- Pupil council representative
- during various school intitatives Eg MicroTyco, YPI, etc
- Future Pathways representative
