On the 18th March, myself and a group of others interested in studying biology or medicine, were given the opportunity to visit the Beatson Cancer Research Centre. We listened to a very informative talk about the basic biology behind cancer and were then given a tour of the laboratories. The trip was a fantastic experience which gave us all the ability to see first hand some of the amazing work and development we are making towards beating cancer. It was a real insight into research and cancer biology.
