Wednesday 24th June 2020

Hello Primary 4! School’s out for summer!

Thank you for all of your hard work and effort this year, you have been a super class and we have really enjoyed being your teachers!

We hope you and your families have a wonderful summer holiday and that you make happy memories which you can tell us all about when we see you in August!

Keep safe and keep smiling!

Miss Fyfe and Mr Gordon

Week Beginning: Monday 22nd June 2020
Well boys and girls, it’s the last few days of school before the summer holidays so we thought you deserved to go on a virtual school trip!
We are going to…EDINBURGH ZOO!
Using the link below, you can virtually visit the zoo, see many of the animals on a live webcam, play some fun games and do some great activities!
We have also created a grid of extra zoo-tastic activities for you to complete at your leisure. You do not have to complete them all and you could even save some for during the summer holidays! Remember the last few days of school are lots of fun. You have worked hard this year and we hope you enjoy your virtual trip to the zoo!
Although we won’t all be together on a bus for our trip, that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy some traditional bus-journey songs!
For example; “You canny shove your granny off a bus” or “The back/front of the bus canny sing” or “The wheels on the bus”.
Have a zoo-per time at the zoo! Don’t forget your packed lunch and no… we’re not nearly there yet!

Week Beginning: Monday 8/6/2020 and Monday 15/6/2020

Hello Primary 4, here comes summer!

As the summer holidays are approaching (hopefully along with some sunshine) we decided to plan your learning around the theme of “Here Comes Summer”.

Below you will find an activity grid with a range of literacy, numeracy and across the curriculum activities. These will be your home learning activities for the next two weeks.

We want you to decide which order you would like to complete the activities in. You do not have to do all of them, but please try as many as you can!

We would also still really like to see what you are working on at home so please to continue to email photos of your home learning activities to gw19auchinraithhl@glow.sch.uk

Completed Work

We are aware of the need for children and parents to have the facility to email completed work to class teachers. All completed work should be sent to: gw19auchinraithhl@glow.sch.uk

Please ensure that your child’s name and class are both in the subject heading. All communication/messages should continue to be sent through this Blog. This glow email account is only for completed work. This could be in the form of photographs or word documents. We look forward to seeing some of your work!
