After our lesson on bannock making with Edith Leslie on Monday, we had a great afternoon making them ourselves. We all enjoyed eating them too and hopefully some of you at home will have tasted them, if they didn’t get eaten on the way home 🙂

On Monday 5th September Edith Leslie came to teach Primary 7 how to make bannocks. She also brought us some treacle bannocks, oatcakes, plain bannocks and Welsh cakes to taste. We had a great morning and we’re looking forward to having a go ourselves on Wednesday.
Here are a few things that the Primary 7s said afterwards.
‘The bannocks were good and it was fun learning how to make them.’ Kyle
‘I am really looking forward to making the bannocks on Wednesday and to eating them!’ said Lauren.
‘It was nice to have Edith make some bannocks and other treats, I hope she comes back.’ Victoria.
