Our challenge today is about riddles.

Read the riddles below then solve them to see which things you need to try and find on your next walk. Remember the answers should rhyme! Have fun!

Home Learning

Happy New Year Primary 3! We hope you had a lovely holiday. There are activities for you to do at home in the Home Learning section of this blog. We hope you can try some of the activities and we look forward to seeing your hard work. You can email us your work or email us just to say hi! Have fun & stay safe!

Winter Art

P3 have been learning about Living Things in science and they have enjoyed exploring and looking for living things in our school environment. They have applied their understanding to their artwork as they focused on drawing detailed pictures of Autumn leaves and trees, making thick and thin lines.

This week our challenge was to apply the same skills using chalk. The children did a fantastic job and used blending techniques to make the trees and leaves look frosty.

Social Skills

We have been playing games & doing activities that involve turn taking, sharing as well as lots of fun! We are learning how to organise ourselves at our tables so that everyone has a turn & feels fairly treated.  We are having fun while developing our co-operation skills.

Guy Fawkes Art

We worked really hard on Wednesday afternoon with Mrs Wilkinson. We heard the story of Guy Fawkes & the gunpowder plot. We used black pens to draw the Houses of Parliament then we added fireworks to the sky using chalks. We are very proud of our super pictures!
