On Tuesday the 12th of February, pupils worked on their weighing and volume measuring skills as they cooked their own pancakes.

Elise writes:

“On Pancake Day we got to taste the pancakes and I put on lemon juice.  We had too much batter at the end so our group got a quarter of an extra pancake.  The name of our group is The Famous Fours and our names are Elise, Carlo, Cara and Archie.”

Tis the season to be jolly and everyone was having a great time at the school Christmas party.  Tayside Contracts laid on a special Turkey-with-all-the-trimmings school dinner which pupils (and staff!) enjoyed while listening to Christmas songs and pulling crackers.

Later, pupils had their annual Christmas party which was hosted by the visiting P.E. specialist.  Pupils got dressed to the nines in their best party clothes and enjoyed traditional party games, including musical statues and pass the parcel.

On Wednesday 31st October, the whole school took party in a Healthy Halloween Party in the afternoon.  Pupils dressed up and painted their faces before the party, then played Musical Zombies and Halloween Corners before stopping for a healthy snack. 

After the break, pupils played Pin the Eye on the Zombie and went “Spooning for Grapes” before the pumpkin lanterns and costumes were judged.
