We had a visit from the RSSPCA to tell us about the great work they do to rescue animals. Alex told us all about his job and showed us a video of some animals that had been rescued. Then we got to ask any questions.

Read and discuss your book each night. Can you spot any spelling words? Can you see any common reading words? (the words inside the ‘word wall’). Can you find any 3 or 4 letter blend words?
Practise all reading words highlighted in yellow or in your word wallet.
Maths
We will be learning about the number names up to 10 (one, two, three etc.) Complete the worksheet and stick it in your jotter. We will also be learning about the order names to 10 (1st, 2nd, 3rd etc). Draw a picture of a race and label who is 1st,2nd, 3rd etc all the way up to 10th place. We will be working on ordering the numbers to 50 and finding numbers ‘before, after and between’.
Can you write the numbers to 50 in order in your jotter?
Choose any number up to 50.What comes after it? What comes before it? Give 2 numbers it comes between. Try lots of examples like this and write your answers in your jotter (remember to write the number you start with as well as your answer).
