We have been working hard finding all the facts that add to 11 and 12.

Primary 7 have been designing and making a city for the future. We were asked to come along and judge who we thought had the best ideas.  We will find out who got the most votes later.

Today we had great fun doing lots of activities for Sports Relief to help us be fit and healthy and raise money for a good cause. We built Sport Relief characters using construction materials, made a healthy lunch box , kept fit with dance moves,  yoga and games and even got to design a new game in the gym hall and try it out. We will all be getting fitter and healthier if we keep this up!

Since this is Science week, we tried an experiment today to see what happens when we mix different colours. We discovered blue and red made purple and yellow and blue made green. Why not have a go at this yourself or follow the link on the homework blog to try some other experiments too. Take photos and bring them in to share with the class or stick them in your homework jotter and we can all get to see them next week.

A reminder that we will be celebrating WORLD BOOK DAY this Friday 9th March as well as having a Fairtrade Pancake Breakfast which all parents and careers are welcome to come along and enjoy.

You will be entertained with the children singing and you could ask your child to join you too. Primary 2 and P2/3 will be singing at 11am.

For World Book Day your child may come dressed as their favourite book character or wear their pyjamas ready to hear some ‘bedtime’ stories.

We hope you can manage to come along and join us.
