SPELLING
Practise these words 3 times each in ‘waterfall’ writing (ask your child to show you this). Try to do this 2 or 3 times a week –

READING
Practise reading your book each night. Can you find any of your common words or spelling words in your reading book? Write them in your jotter.
MATHS
Play ‘What’s My Missing Number?’ Choose some numbers within 100. Say the numbers to your child with one missing eg ’32, 33, 34, ___, 36 37. What’s the missing number? Do the same for numbers going down eg ’73, 72, 71, 70, ___, 68′ etc. Write some missing number sums in your jotter.
Choose a number between 1 and 100 and write it in your jotter. Now write the number that comes ‘before’ or ‘after’ it.
Use ‘Sumdog’ for maths and spelling.
