Today we we were thinking about halves and linking this to symmetry. We worked out how many stickers would be needed on each side. We know that 4 add 4 equals 8, so 4 is half of 8. We found out half of 10 and 12 too!
We practised our typing skills and learnt how to insert a picture into our documents. We remembered that Robert Burns wrote lots of lovely poems that are used for Valentine’s Day, so included a famous line from one of his poems.
There was a visit from the afternoon Nursery children to wish us Happy Chinese New Year.
It was lovely to hear their music and listen to them wishing us Happy New Year in Chinese- they said the words very well and we tried to reply to them in Chinese too.
