Practise writing these words in rainbow writing.

Group 1 – he, she, we.

Group 2 – not, got, up, mum.

COMMON WORDS – read these words aloud from your word wall or list.

Group 1 – fast, fell, father, find, five.

Group 2 – she, came, from, this      PLUS common words from the word wallets.

SOUNDS

Group 1 –  ‘ay’ sound (day, play, today etc). Practise reading the ‘ay’ words from your new sound booklet each night.

Group 2 – Practise reading aloud the 3 letter blends on the first side of your new sound sheet.

HANDWRITING

Practise these letters in small and capital letters –

aA, cC,dD, gG, qQ, sS,

Remember to start at the correct place and make the capitals touch the top line in your jotter.

READING

Read your book each night being careful to read the words on the page accurately (don’t add extra words, miss out words or read different words from the ones on the page). Remember to look for the speech marks to read with expression.
