Punctuation
We will be learning about punctuating stories with capitals and full stops. Can you write a short story putting in all the capitals and full stops in the correct place? You can write about something you did, your favourite thing, an imaginative adventure or facts about something. Draw a picture to go with your story.
Sounds

The spelling words for this week are;

Use the 5 rules of spelling (Look, Say, Cover, Write, Check) and write each word three times and use them in a sentence.
Reading
Practise your reading every night talking about the characters and events that are happening.
Maths
We will be working on more addition and subtraction sums within 10 and up to 20 and learning how to set them out horizontally and then vertically.

Topic
This Friday (3rd Feb) is Primary 2’s assembly on Scotland. The children can come to school that day wearing something tartan if they have it (shirt, dress, ribbon, sash etc).
