Sounds
This week’s sounds will be a mixture of the blends covered so far (fa, ge, si, po, cu). Practise reading the blending sheet for fluency every night (highlighted in yellow). We will also be learning about the ‘ck’ sound.

Common Reading Words
Practise reading the words on the ‘word wall’ highlighted in yellow each night.
Spelling
This week’s words are; no, go, into, the.
Write each word 3 times in small and then capital letters remembering to use the 5 rules of spelling (LOOK, SAY, COVER, WRITE, CHECK).
Reading
Read and discuss your book each night. Can you spot any spelling words? Can you see any common reading words? (the words inside the ‘word wall’). Can you find any 3 or 4 letter blend words?
Practise all reading words highlighted in yellow or in your word wallet.
Maths
We will be learning about the number names up to 10 (one, two, three etc.) Complete the worksheet and stick it in your jotter. We will also be learning about the order names to 10 (1st, 2nd, 3rd etc). Draw a picture of a race and label who is 1st,2nd, 3rd etc all the way up to 10th place.
