Reading
Practice your book every night. Ask and answer questions about the story to help understanding.
Handwriting
Practice writing the following letters in small and then capital letters. Remember to start at the correct place to form the letters properly.

Maths
We will be learning more about tens and unit numbers eg 13 = 10 + 3, or 13 = 1 ten + 3, or
1 ten + 3 = 13 etc. Use objects for counting with (sweets, pasta etc) and count out amounts between 10 and 20. Make bundles of 10 (1 ten) and see how many are left (units). The children should see that, for example, 17 = 10 + 7. Allow them to record their answers in different ways (see above examples). When confident move on to numbers between 20 and 30. Continue to larger numbers if able.
