Computer Skills

Practise typing on the computer to familiarise yourself with the position of the keys. Use the shift key for capitals and the return and delete key. You can type a sentence from your reading book or make up your own. Print your work out and stick it in your jotter.

Design the honey label competition

A competition will be running to design the packaging for a honey jar. You need to;

• make your label eye catching and clear.
• design a logo for our honey.

include a name for our honey farm, name for our honey and the date it was made.

There will be a winner from each house, plus an overall winner, which will be used for our actual honey jars in the summer.

The four winners will get 1,000, 750, 500 and 250 respectively. The overall winner will get 2000 house points.

The children’s entries need to have their name, class and house on it.

They can use the template provided or design their own – their choice.
