Maths
We will be learning about the ‘minute’ and how there are 60 seconds in a minute. Time yourself doing different activities for 1 minute and count how many you get eg hopping, drawing tally marks, writing numbers etc. Record your activity and number completed in your jotter. Can you beat your score the next time you try?
In number work we will be finding the missing number in a sum by counting on, or carrying out the opposite process. For example 3 + □ = 9 can be found by ‘counting on’ or doing 9 – 3 = □. Try lots of examples like this in your jotter with numbers up to 10 and if confident try up to 20.
