Bonjour!
Have you been out getting fresh air and exercise when the weather has been good? If so, have you noticed any signs of Spring?
How about practising some French phrases with members of your family today? You could exchange greetings and some basic information about yourself. You could even do a pretend register and lunch numbers in French as we do for class! Here’s a great revision song!
I know that many of you enjoy practising French, so here is a site that you might enjoy –
https://www.duolingo.com/course/fr/en/Learn-French
Please remember for all written activities to : date , I can and traffic light your work.
For spelling practice, I have found a good game called of Mini Golf , which you can get to free through
https://spellingframe.co.uk/spelling-rule/102/25-Contractions
This game will help you practise contractions e.g. he is – he’s
Handwriting practice continues with some trickier letter formations. I can join letters together correctly.
Now that your forms and joins are improving, please write the five sentences neatly into your jotter.
I can form e, s and f correctly when I join letters.
Numeracy today involves mental skills.
I can use different mental maths strategies
We will extend our revision of addition today, by adding exchange. You already practised some exchanging in multiplication last week, so this should be less challenging.
I can add 4 digit numbers with exchange. Remember to set out correctly as this will help your accuracy.
You could finish of with some maths crafts like the following photo!
Have fun and be smart with art!
