jeudi le vingt-cinq janvier

During our reading lesson we were finding evidence from the text and making judgements about characters from what was written, or the impression that was given, to write detailed character profiles.

This morning โ€œRobert Burnsโ€ visited our class to ensure that we were presenting one of his poems in our best joined handwriting- luckily he was happy with our efforts!

A small group of children from P4 gave us a flavour of what to expect at their assembly by singing and reciting some of Burnsโ€™ most famous works. We are looking forward to seeing the whole assembly tomorrow!

This afternoon we were shown some photos and artefacts from the New Lanark heritage site. The place is very interesting and as P6 ย are learning about the Victorians, it would be a great place to visit and experience what life was like in the nineteenth century.
