How do you explain the formal method for subtraction? We all thought of the different steps and realised that you have to be very clear with your method!
In P.E. we were extending our ย use of equipment to the use ย of a badminton racquet and shuttlecock. In pairs we were throwing returning and catching the shuttlecock. At the end of the lesson we could explain what we were doing well or had improved on and also suggest our next steps to develop the skills further.
