Senior Careers Event
Senior pupils took part in a day dedicated to careers. The ‘Rock Assembly’ event was hosted online by Talent Foundry who provided us with speakers from various industries. Pupils were able to learn about careers within the NHS, financial sector, science and apprenticeships.
Throughout the day there were a few interactive sessions were pupils were able to take part in activities such as learning how to code their own game and work out budgets.
Pupils were really motivated by some of the presenters who shared their stories from when they were young and how they managed to seek out the career and job they are currently in. They shared their struggles and triumphs showing pupils wherever they see themselves keep going until you achieve what you want.
