What a fantastic week!
Primary 2 participated in lots of STEM activities throughout the week and really enjoyed their hands on experiences.
They were exploring how oil spills can be so dangerous to marine life and how difficult it is to remove oil from the water.
A fantastic visit from the Merck Group allowed the children to make their own Lava Lamps, extract DNA from a banana and investigate germs!
We had a fabulous visit from Dr Russell who spoke to the children about his exciting and challenging experiences from working in the Royal Navy.
The children were very busy all week focussing on problem solving skills and putting engineering into action.
All completed in 22 degree heat! Well done everyone! Enjoy your rest this weekend!
Thank you
