Good morning everyone I hope you had a good weekend and you are feeling fine today. We begin today with a story called Stuck

Did you listen really carefully to the story? I wonder if you can remember what order Floyd threw all the items into the tree?

Can we get our playdough out again? Do you remember the recipe?

You will need;
– 2 cups of Flour
– 2 cups of Water
– 1 cup of salt
– 2 tablespoons of cooking oil
– Food Colouring

  • Mix liquid ingredients together
  • mix flour and salt together
  • add all ingredients into one bowl and knead until smooth (add more flour if it’s too sticky)
I wonder if you can make some of the things thrown into the tree with your dough?

Would you like to practice some number work and help Bud with his beautiful garden? Here is the link for a really good interactive counting game.

I think the tree must have been very tall because poor Floyd couldn’t reach all the things he threw. I wonder if you can make a tall tree or model with your Lego or blocks, cups or sticks

Our rhyme today is My Kite got Stuck in a Tree
My kite got stuck in a tree, in a tree, in a tree
My kite got stuck in a tree, what will I do?
I’ll free the kite with my shoes, with my shoes, with my shoes
I’ll free the kite with my shoes, they’re stuck too
I’ll free the shoes with my cat, with my cat, with my cat
I’ll free the shoes with my cat, he’s stuck too
I’ll free my cat with a ladder, with a ladder, with a ladder
I’ll free my cat with a ladder that’s stuck too.
