I hope you all enjoyed the story, some of you may have heard this story before but this version is different and that’s because it’s in Scots, some of the words sound a bit funny don’t they?
Let’s get those maths skills up and running again.

Who fancies learning how to make an Apple Clockleddy snack?
You will need:
• half a red apple
• a spread of your choice such as, peanut butter, soft cheese, chocolate spread, jam or honey
• Raisins
• 1 black or purple grape
• chocolate match stick or pretzel sticks
How to make
• slice the 1/2 apple in to half again
• put small dots of any spread of your choice on the red skin of the apple
• stick the raisins onto the spread to make the Clockleddy spots
• use the grape as the head
• stick in your match sticks or pretzel sticks as antennas
• and enjoy 😊
We could get out our dough again and make some clockleddys
You will need your dough, some googly eyes if you have any and pipe cleaners or tiny bits of twig. How many spots will your clockleddys have?
