Hi Everyone.

We have been really busy over the last 2 weeks and one of the areas we have been exploring is 3D shape. We have enjoyed investigating objects and shapes, we can sort them, describe them and be creative with them. We know that 3D shapes are solid. Here we are investigating the best 3D shapes for building.

Here we are looking at the 2D footprint on a 3D shape.

And finally, spotting shapes in our environment.

The other area we have been busy working on is, our classroom charter. We know that we have rights but with those rights comes responsibilities.The rights that we have decided to focus on in our classroom are; the right to play, the right to learn, the right to be listened to and the right to be safe. The actions we are going to show in our classroom are; always try our best, share with our friends, use gentle hands and kind words and always listen to others especially the adult!
