Last Thursday we received the sacrament of Reconciliation. It was a very special evening and we felt extremely proud. We shall try to remember to show God’s love as we journey through Lent. Thank you very much to Father Joe.

In Maths we are now looking at the relationship between multiplication and division. It can be tricky at times but we are great at persevering and helping each other. We are using lots of different strategies to help us. This includes using a variety of resources to share out amounts into equal groups. We are also using our knowledge of the two times table to help too.

In our new topic this week we have been learning about British birds. Did you know that the male robin makes a loud singing noise to warn other robins away from his territory and the kingfisher can swallow a fish in one gulp?

In Art we have been drawing parrots and looking closely at their bright colours. On Thursday we painted them and now they are looking fantastic. We also made parrot factfiles. What an amazing bird!

Tune in next week for another update. Have a great weekend!
