Sleepy Sevens!

Last week we went to Kilbowie outdoor centre! It took a 2 ½ hours to get there and we stopped at the Green Wellie for a quick toilet break. In Kilbowie we were split into six activity groups which we stayed in all week for our activities. We participated in different activities e.g. orienteering, skiing, adventure walk, co-steering, safari, jumping off the pier, canoeing and rock climbing. We loved the activities and learned lots of new skills. We will remember the experience of Kilbowie for the rest of our lives! J

This week we have all been tired but have still had to do our work.

Literacy:  We completed our Kilbowie logbooks. We also wrote a detailed recount of last week. We learned all about relative clauses today in our Grammar lesson.

Maths and Numeracy: In numeracy we learned how to divide using chunking. It was tricky at first but we are getting the hang of it now. We also learned about reflective symmetry and made our diagrams very colourful.

TIOF: We were happy to welcome the Bronx Brothers, Brother Angelo and Fr Bernard (Franciscan Friars) to our school. They spoke to us at length and Brother Angelo taught us a song and how we each have a temple inside of us.

Art:  We got started on our Christmas Crafts.  Watch this space for some finished examples.

Goodbye from P7C for now…
