It has been a busy week in P2 this week!

In maths we have been revising number work from last year and have been exploring money with Mr McKenna. We looked at the different coins and notes that we have.

In our maths stations we explored the shape and features of coins by making coin rubbings, we used the smartboard to identify the correct coins, we made money posters and we played in our class supermarket and used coins to pay for different items.

In literacy, we have been revising our P1 common words and single sounds in phonics. In writing we wrote about ourselves and made sure that we had capital letters and full stops in the correct places!
