One of our pupils has been busy making Pizza this week. This was one of the activities on our play grid. She prepared it herself and it looks delicious!! Well done!

Family Challenge: Dance!
Family Dance Challenge!
Time to get those dancing shoes on, those endorphins pumping and that heart racing!
This week’s family learning challenge will focus on Expressive Arts.
Taking part in dance contributes to your child’s physical education and physical activity.
Your child will develop their technical skills and the quality of their movement, and use their imagination and skills to create and choreograph a dance sequence. Healthy Body equals healthy mind!
We would love the whole family to get involved in this.
Challenge
We are aware that Tik Tok has been a favourite pastime of many of our pupil’s during lockdown.
We would like you either on your own, with your sibling or the whole family to make up a short routine to a dance and send us the short video clip.
Be as creative as you like, you can even dress up for it.
All we ask is you choose a song that is appropriate and does not contain any profanities.
All the clips will be collated to make a short video which will be posted on the school blog.
We will also choose the top three clips as winners.
We look forward to seeing your dance moves and happy faces.
The closing date for the competition is Monday 1st June 2020.
Email: rmeimarouglou@chaplegreen.n-lanark.sch.uk with your enteries.
Get the tunes on and start dancing.

Week Beginning 25/5/20
Hello Room 4,
I hope that you are all doing well and that you enjoyed the holiday weekend.
Well done to everyone who sent in their lovely posters saying hello and all of the things they are grateful for. I absolutely loved watching the video, it made me feel really happy. I can’t believe how much some of you have grown since I last saw you! Also, a huge thank you to those children who sent me letters last week. I was so delighted to receive them and I really enjoyed writing back to you too.
A huge well done to Riley for his work on Sumdog last week! He had the most correct answers overall and he spent the most time on Sumdog. He has been rewarded with 200 coins. I wonder who will get the 200 coins reward for this week?
This week I have included a lot of video links in your tasks, particularly for Numeracy. These will help to support you (and your grown-ups) by giving you a mini lesson. Please watch them if you can.
I hope that you enjoy the rest of the week ahead. Remember to contact me if you need my help.
From,
Miss Richardson
