  • Hot or Cold?

    In art, Room 3 have been exploring colour using paints.  They have been mixing paints to create new colours and they have been grouping colours into those that are hot colours and those that are cold colours.

  • Good Game, Well Done!

    Room 3 have been talking about their emotions and have set themselves a target which is to tell about how they are feeling.  They have been exploring phrases they can use and ways they should  react when they win or lose a game.

  • Room 3 PE

    The children in Room 3 have been having fun practising their hand-eye coordination skills when throwing and catching in their PE sessions.

  • Turn That Frown Upside Down!

    Room 3 have been exploring facial expressions and emotions.  We went outside to create faces using natural materials and objects.   We realised that we could change the expressions on our faces by moving the mouth and eyebrows!

  • Masks

    Room 3 have been exploring the use of masks.  We talked about how masks are used to protect us in sports, to protect us against germs and are used as part of uniforms or costumes.

    We designed our own face masks, superhero masks and carnival masks.

     

  • We’re Going On A Word Hunt!

    Primary 3 and 4 had fun looking for phonemes words in the playground.

  • Studyladder Superstars!!

    Well done to these pupils who earned certificates for their hard work on Studyladder. Keep it up!!

  • Growth Mindset!

    A fantastic growth mindset poster created by one of our pupils.

    He has put all of the things he is having a positive attitude towards around his growth mindset brain!

    Some very good ideas and a bright and colourful poster. Well done! 🙂

  • Science Fun!

    One of our pupils has been experimenting! They have used shaving foam and food colouring to represent a rain cloud!

  • Hungry Caterpillars to Beautiful Butterflies!

    One of our pupils has been busy learning about the life cycle of a butterfly! Here we can see some of the stages of the life cycle!
