Skills Development Scotland (SDS) careers advisers invite parents and carers of S1 to S3 pupils to join them to hear how SDS support young people to choose the course options that are right for them.
You’ll get information and tools to help you start career conversations with your young person, to support them to be confident in the decisions they make at option choice times and beyond.
In order to access this session, you will require to have downloaded the Microsoft Teams app on your device – we would advise that if you are using a mobile or tablet, you download this prior to the session.

This webinar will introduce parents and carers of S1 to S3 pupils to the support available from our advisers at this crucial time.

The 2023 Prelim Timetable can be found here. Every pupil who is sitting a prelim has been given an individual timetable. The whole timetable has also been emailed out and been posted on Teams.

EASTER STUDY SCHOOL
There will be an Easter Study School running this Easter holiday for S4 – 6 Pupils to get some extra study time in preparation for the SQA Exams. Click on the image below to download a copy of the Easter school timetable. Pupils don’t need to sign up – simply come along at the scheduled dates and times – ready to work hard!

Today our S2 and S4/5 pupils will be given out their ‘Pathways Options’ form for the following year. This will allow parents/carers to support their young person in selecting the subjects they wish to choose for next year. Pupil Support teachers will meet with pupils over the coming weeks to help pupils make their choices and then forms will be sent home for signing.
Our careers officer James Corry will also support pupils with their option forms in relation to future career ideas. Please also visit the PLANIT PLUS website for more advice on selecting options.
