The homework task is to attempt this question. I have also attached a PowerPoint presentation on how you should attempt this question. One of you has already submitted a response to one of these type of questions and got full marks – I won’t name names!

Hi, I hope you are all well. Again, apologies to those of you who are not doing Higher Modern Studies. I have attached the Higher note on First Past the Post. You will already be familiar with this topic from the N5 course. You will notice from the note that I have given you loads of knowledge points and also a lot of analysis points (these are in red).
For your homework I would like you too attempt a 12 mark essay. This is not as difficult as it sounds! All you have to do is combine 6 knowledge points with 6 analysis points and this will get you 12/12!. There is no need for an introduction or conclusion. Give it a try!

Evaluate the effectiveness of one voting system you have studied in providing fair representation.
