In January 2022 the Reading School team spotlighted Holocaust Memorial Day by delivering a genre taster to all S1 and S2 pupils on War/History stories.

During this genre taster session all lower school pupils were asked to complete a Book Menu which revealed their first favourite book (starter), their all time favourite book (main course) and the book they enjoyed most recently (dessert). Please see below for a selection of the best book menus.

Pupils were also encouraged to choose a War/History book and were helped to do so via the Holocaust Memorial book display in the library.
