Throughout the year our fantastic literacy ambassadors will be supporting our calendar of literacy themed events:

October – Black History Month and Dyslexia Awareness

November – Book Week Scotland and World Kindness Day

January – Holocaust Remembrance Day

February – LGBT History Month and Harry Potter Book Night

March – World Book Day and International Women’s Day

May – Children’s Book Week and Mental Health Awareness Week

June – Pride

These events will celebrate books, authors, and reading for pleasure as well as raising awareness of a range of different topics and events.
