Our Pupil Council organised a Talent Show on Friday afternoon. The children had paid £1 to dress down and this was used to buy prizes for our participants. We had gymnasts, singers, dancers and magicians.
Some of our pupils took part in the inter schools Basketball Festival held at St Maurice’s High School.
Monday 25th – open afternoon in Room 1. Wednesday 27th – Basketball Festival – Tri Golf afterschool club Friday 29th – Dress Down and pay £1 to the Pupil Council. A Talent Show run by the Pupil Council will be held in the afternoon. Prizes will be given out – bought by dress down money. Our football team took part in an interschools football tournament at Toryglen football facility to promote the upcoming Glasgow Cup Final between Rangers and Celtic, taking place at Ibrox next Saturday. Our children had a great day winning every game they played.
Primary 5 and 6 children were invited to take part in an interschools K/Nex challenge. This heat was held in Chryston High School. 2 pupils from P5 and 2 pupils from P6 were chosen to represent Auchinloch PS. They practiced every week and during the holidays. A big thank you to all that supported our recent daffodil tea. We raised £214.68 for CLIC Sargent. We did this by selling tickets & daffodils. We ran a homebaking stall, sold raffle tickets and had 2 games of standup bingo. We had a parade of all the Spring Bonnets made at home in the holidays. It was a very difficult job to pick a winners from each stage but
