How to Apply

• Applications can be completed and handed directly to the first choice setting along with the necessary supporting paperwork
• Parents/carers may wish to email the application form directly to the first-choice setting, supporting paperwork can be sent as a photo attachment for those that don’t have access to a scanning facility.
• Please ensure three choices are provided.

• Paper applications can still be accepted where parents/carers do not have access to IT.
• Parents/carers unable to provide their current council tax bill can register with the Council Tax portal and obtain a copy View and manage your council tax account online | North Lanarkshire Council
• Please ensure that a copy of the birth certificate is provided for UK Nationals and a Passport/Identity Card for non UK Nationals

ELC Guidance Notes 3-5yr 2025-2026

Enrolment for the nursery takes place throughout the nursery year.  Application forms can be obtained from the school office on online. Your child’s birth certificate and proof of address have to be presented. If you wish your child to start nursery in the August term, please ensure your form is completed and submitted to the school office by preceding January. Details of this are given in the local press annually.

When your child is enrolled in nursery, they will be allocated a Key Worker and put in a nursery group. The Key Worker is the main point of contact for your child.

Settling in

On the first day at nursery, parents and children will be gradually introduced to the routine of the nursery session.  Parents are asked to complete their administration form and share information about their child with a member of staff.
