Registration of Infant Beginners 2021 A new system for Registration of Infant Beginners has been put in place to support our ongoing response to COVID-19. A new online registration form has been created and guidelines are below. A deadline of 22nd January 2021 has been set for return of all forms. Enrolment and Placing Request forms are now available for parents/carers to complete online and email to individual schools.

We have added a new folder on each of the class teams called “Self Isolation – Home Learning. If your child must self-isolate, please contact the school and let us know the isolation period and the reason. E.g. Contacted by Test and Protect, symptomatic household, close contact to positive case, positive COVID test result. School and Nursery Remembrance Sunday is this Sunday, the 8th November. We will participate in a 2-minute silence at 11am on the 11th November. Normally poppies would be on sale in the week or so leading up to it but because of COVID that can’t happen. The first action of our Sports Committee this year was to approach Mr Brown and ask to organise a charity event. They decided to run a relay marathon. Yesterday our School Captain presented the prefects with their badges. This is a new role for our school, established by this year’s Captain and one we are very excited about. We reintroduced our house points system today and our P1s were given their new houses. Points can be earned around the school, in the dinner hall and playground for demonstrating our school values. Every adult in the school can award points and at the end of each term the winning house will be awarded an extra playtime.
